Agropoli Italy

Agropoli is a town and comune in the Cilento area of the Province of Salerno, Campania, Italy. It sits at the start of the Cilentan Coast, on the Tyrrhenian Sea. The headland on which Agropoli stands has been inhabited since Neolithic times. However, it appears that it was only in the later Bronze and Iron Ages that it became continuously inhabited by a settled, indigenous population, who lived by hunting and fishing.
