Legian, Bali, Indonesia

Legian, Bali Indonesia

Legian is a seaside town in South Bali, just north of Kuta and south of Seminyak. Running up from Kuta, it has the same handy access to shops and bars, but with a slightly more relaxed, less frantic feel. It’s a laid‑back spot where you can still find Kuta-style low prices without quite as much hassle. The northern end of Legian, near Seminyak, is a good place to dodge the crowds and is also well known for its surf. The busiest stretch of Legian Beach is at the end of Jalan Padma, often called Padma Beach. It’s calmer than Kuta, has a better, less crowded surf break, and you’ll find plenty of friendly stallholders serving cold beers under the umbrellas.
