Aranda de Duero is a Spanish town and municipality in the south of the province of Burgos, in the autonomous community of Castile and León. Aranda de Duero is one of the towns visited on the famous Duero Route and is one of the most important cultural routes in the south of Europe. This route’s itinerary cuts the region in two and allows visitors to experience the nature, art and gastronomy that the area has to offer. The Church of Santa María is one of the most emblematic tourist attractions in Aranda de Duero. It was built in the 15th century and is in the Gothic style. You can also visit the Romanesque bridge, the Colmenares Palace, and numerous ancestral houses. What’s more, Aranda de Duero lies on the Ribera del Duero Wine Route and has wineries that are open to visitors.
