Kochi India

The city of Kochi boasts one of the most important seaports in the Paiscochin. It is also the largest city in India without a Hindu majority, due to the successive waves of migration over the millennia. These migrations have made Kochi a melting pot of races and while there is a risk of overdevelopment, the city still maintains an authenticity of its colonial legacy that will make tourists feel and admire the city's streets. In 1102 AD, Cochin became the seat of the Kingdom of Kochi and was an important centre of spice trade on the Arabian Sea coast since the 14th century. The city has experienced a period of economic growth since the year 2000, which has led to its development. This was due to advances in various economic areas such as: tourism, transport industry and ICT.
