Carano Italy

Carano was an Italian town of 1,079 inhabitants in the autonomous province of Trento, located in the Val di Fiemme. On 1 January 2020 it was merged with the municipalities of Daiano and Varena to form the new municipality of Ville di Fiemme. Carano is a typical Alpine village laid out on a terrace in a commanding position, overlooking the Lagorai range and the Pale di San Martino. The Rio Val valley, also called Val d’Osta, divides the village into two parts: the Villa, which is the main and highest settlement (1,120 m), and Radòe, where the church stands (1,086 m).
