Aci Trezza (Sicilian: Jaci Trizza) is a small seaside town in Sicily, in the south of Italy, and a frazione of the comune of Aci Castello, about 10 km north of Catania, with a population of roughly 5,000 people. Lying on the coast of the Ionian Sea, the village has a long maritime tradition. Aci Trezza is a popular summer destination for Italian holidaymakers. The town’s patron saint is St John the Baptist, and the Festa di San Giovanni is held every year during the last week of June in his honour.
