Cabras Italy

Cabras (Sardinian: Crabas) is a town and municipality in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region of Sardinia, about 90 kilometres (56 miles) north-west of Cagliari and about 6 kilometres (4 miles) north-west of Oristano. Cabras shares borders with the municipalities of Nurachi, Oristano and Riola Sardo. It has several churches, including a Baroque-style parish church and the Church of the Holy Spirit, which dates from 1601 and has two Gothic aisles. The Phoenician archaeological site of Tharros is also located here. The municipal area includes several beaches on the Sinis Peninsula and along the Gulf of Oristano.
