Tam Cốc–Bích Động is a well-known tourist destination in northern Vietnam and forms part of the Tràng An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The name literally means “the three caves” and it lies in Ninh Binh province, near the town of Tam Cốc. The nearest city is Ninh Binh. The area comprises two main attractions: Tam Cốc, a karst landscape of flooded caves, and Bích Động, a group of mountain pagodas. Tam Coc is especially popular for its spectacular natural scenery, making it one of the best places in Vietnam for people who love nature.
