Kuyucak Turcaí

Kuyucak is a town and district in Aydın Province in Türkiye’s Aegean region, about 58 km (36 miles) from the city of Aydın on the E24 road linking İzmir and Denizli, and roughly 180 km (112 miles) east of İzmir. It’s located near the larger town of Nazilli. Set in the foothills of the Aydın Mountains, Kuyucak’s economy is mainly agricultural. The upland areas produce olive oil, while the lowland plain of the Büyük Menderes River is known for high–quality oranges, figs and cotton. The town itself has a population of around 7,200 people. Kuyucak has a typical Aegean climate, with hot summers, wet autumns, cool winters and bright, sunny springs.
