Manilva, Spain

Manilva Spain

The westernmost municipality in the province, Manilva stretches from the lower Genal Valley down to the coast, made up mainly of gentle, vineyard-covered hills. The village centre lies about two kilometres inland, with its main architectural landmark being St Anne’s Church. A second, coastal hub, Sabinillas, is home to Sabinillas Castle, which dates back to the reign of Charles III. Alongside its long, sandy beaches, the coastline features several points of interest, including the Pleasure Harbour and Punta Chullera Tower.
