Trezzano sul Naviglio Italy

Trezzano sul Naviglio is a municipality in the metropolitan city of Milan. The town’s history is closely tied to that of Milan itself. The first to establish this wonderful town were lawyers who owned extensive lands. In the twelfth century the family declined and their properties were repeatedly divided. The land was later entrusted to various local farmers and, in 1809, the territories of Loirano and Terzago were annexed. The municipality took on its current name when the original “Trezzano” was combined with “sul Naviglio”. The town is ideal for anyone looking for a retreat from city life. Lake Boscaccio and the surrounding park are areas of natural interest, while the historic centre is rich in history.
