Pradollano Spain

Pradollano (officially Sierra Nevada) is a village in Spain that forms part of the municipality of Monachil, in the province of Granada. It is situated in the south‑eastern area of the Vega de Granada region. Close by are the villages of Canales, Pinos Genil and Güéjar Sierra. At 2,078 metres above sea level, it is the highest permanently inhabited settlement in Spain. Pradollano is the only inhabited village within the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, and it is where all of the resort’s main services are based. It has around 4,500 hotel beds and receives about 14,000 visitors per day.
