Tarumã is a neighbourhood in the Brazilian municipality of Manaus. Located in the western part of the city, it has a population of 28,057 inhabitants, according to the 2010 Brazilian Census. Until 2006, it was considered part of the rural area; however, it was then incorporated into the city’s West Zone. The neighbourhood includes the Áurea Braga developments (Parque Cidadão X) 1st and 2nd stages; the Parque Riachuelo I and II subdivisions; Rio Solimões Park, São Pedro Park, Vila Suíça, Paraíso Tropical, Mansões Park, Parque do Lago, Parque das Nações Indígenas, Campos Sales, Nova Friburgo, Abrahinópolis and Barra do Cetur, Pontal, along with the residential condominiums located there.
