Denizli Turcaí

Denizli is an industrial city located at the eastern end of the alluvial valley formed by the Büyük Menderes River, where the plain reaches a height of around one hundred metres, in the southwest of Turkey, in the Aegean Region. Denizli also has a strong appeal for visitors: the thermal waters of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis, as well as the ruins of the city of Laodicea, the former metropolis of Phrygia. Near Honaz, 15 km west of Denizli, you’ll find what, in the 1st century BC, was the city of Colossae.
