Valence France

Valence is a town in southeastern France, the capital of the Drôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It sits on the left bank of the Rhône, about 100 kilometres (62 miles) south of Lyon, on the railway line that runs from Paris to Marseille. It is the eighth-largest city in the region. The city is divided into four districts, and its inhabitants are known as Valentinois.
