Carano Italy

Carano was an Italian town of 1,079 inhabitants in the autonomous province of Trento, located in the Val di Fiemme. On January 1, 2020, it merged with the municipalities of Daiano and Varena to form the new municipality of Ville di Fiemme. Carano is a typical alpine village built on a terrace in a dominant position, overlooking the Lagorai range and the Pale di San Martino. The Rio Val valley, also called Val d’Osta, divides the village into two parts: Villa, which is the main and highest settlement (1,120 m), and Radòe, where the church stands (1,086 m).
