Zillertal is a valley in Tyrol, Austria, formed by the Ziller River. It is the widest valley south of the Inntal (Inn Valley) and gives its name to the Zillertal Alps, a heavily glaciated section of the Alps in which it lies. The Tux Alps are to the west, and the lower grassy peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps are to the east. Zillertal is one of the most visited valleys in Tyrol, and its largest town is Mayrhofen.
