Alassio, Italy

Alassio Italy

The city of Alassio is located in the province of Savona (Liguria region) on the Riviera di Ponente. It is known as a tourist destination and also for its port “Luca Ferrari”, small but very well equipped. The city is bordered on one side by its splendid bay and on the other by green hills. Between the 1950s and 1960s, Alassio was a fashionable resort, alongside the nearby towns of Portofino and Sanremo. The city has many sights, but surely the most distinctive and best known is its wall of colored tiles.
