Cabras Italy

Cabras (Sardinian: Crabas) is a municipality in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region of Sardinia, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) northwest of Oristano. Cabras borders the municipalities of Nurachi, Oristano, and Riola Sardo. It has several notable churches, including a Baroque parish church and the Church of the Holy Spirit, dating to 1601 with two Gothic aisles. Cabras is also home to the Phoenician archaeological site of Tharros. The municipal territory includes several beaches on the Sinis peninsula and along the Gulf of Oristano.
