Granollers Spain

Granollers, capital of Vallès Oriental, is located in the Vallès plain, in the Catalan pre-coastal depression, about 148 m above sea level. The city has remarkable heritage. The Porxada, a Site of National Cultural Interest, is the city’s most emblematic landmark. It was built between 1586 and 1587 and was originally designed as a grain market. For this monument and others of interest, the Granollers Museum offers guided tours of the city’s medieval heritage and its modernist architecture.
