Idaho Falls is a city in, and the county seat of, Bonneville County, Idaho, United States, and is the largest city in Eastern Idaho. It is the principal city of the Idaho Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Idaho Falls–Blackfoot Combined Statistical Area. Idaho Falls is the largest city in the state outside the Boise metropolitan area and forms the third-largest metro area in Idaho, after Boise City–Nampa and Coeur d'Alene, the latter adjoining the larger Spokane metropolitan area. Idaho Falls serves as a regional hub for all of eastern Idaho and much of western Wyoming. Known for its strong local economy, high quality of life, and easy access to world-class outdoor recreation, it frequently appears on national lists of the best places to live. The city is served by Idaho Falls Regional Airport and is home to the Idaho Falls Chukars minor league baseball team and the Idaho Mustangs, a semi-professional football team in the Rocky Mountain Football League.
