Kalkudah Sri Lanka

Kalkudah, also spelled Kalkuda, is a coastal town located about 35 kilometers northwest of Batticaloa, in the Batticaloa District of Sri Lanka. It used to be a popular tourist destination; however, due to the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and Sri Lanka’s civil war, the number of tourists has declined.
