Pradollano (officially Sierra Nevada) is a town and settlement in the municipality of Monachil, in the province of Granada, Spain. It is located in the southeastern part of the Vega de Granada region, near the towns of Canales, Pinos Genil, and Güéjar Sierra. At 2,078 meters (6,820 feet) above sea level, it is the highest-altitude permanent settlement in Spain. Pradollano is the only inhabited village within the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort and is where all the resort’s main services are concentrated. It offers around 4,500 hotel beds and receives approximately 14,000 visitors per day.
