Puebla México

Puebla, situated in the Puebla Valley and encircled by volcanoes and snow-capped mountains, is the capital of the Puebla state and one of the oldest Spanish cities in Mexico, established in 1531. Puebla is famous for its unique colonial architecture, delicious food, Talavera ceramics, onyx crafts, and textile industry. The city maintains an impressively well-preserved center, a stunning cathedral, which boasts two of the tallest church towers in Mexico, and numerous beautiful churches. The city provides a vibrant art and nightlife scene. Los Sapos, the art district, exudes a bohemian vibe and is filled with workshops from local artists. Every Saturday and Sunday, a flea market is held where you can discover handicrafts and some antiques. Puebla is a stunning homage to the architecture and history of Mexico. The people truly live up to its reputation. With 22 churches and countless colonial buildings, the city rightfully earns its title from UNESCO as a world heritage site.
