Trapani (Province) Italy

The Rápani province was a province located in the far western region of Sicily, Italy. It ceased to exist in 2015 and was replaced by the Free Municipal Consortium of Trapani. It was bordered on the east by the province of Palermo, on the southeast by Agrigento, on the west and south by the Sicilian Channel, and on the north by the Tyrrhenian Sea. It covered an area of 2,460 km2, and had a total population of 436,459 residents.
