Billund, Denmark

Billund Denmark

Billund is a small town in the center of Denmark’s Jutland Peninsula and home to Denmark’s second-biggest tourist attraction outside Copenhagen: LEGOLAND. It’s an ideal destination for a family vacation, offering plenty of fun activities for children and adults, as well as a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shopping options. Local attractions include the Billund Museum, beautifully landscaped gardens with a wide range of flowers, more than a dozen churches, and numerous places to shop and relax. The main highlight is LEGOLAND Billund, the original LEGOLAND park opened in 1968, where everything is built from LEGO bricks, including models of many of the world’s most iconic sights. The park also features exciting rides for all ages, from young children to seniors. Billund is also home to many manufacturing companies, excellent facilities for children and young people, and a sculpture park. With Denmark’s second-largest airport located here, Billund is perfectly positioned to serve as a tourism hub for all of Jutland. Though still a relatively young town, Billund has an exceptionally bright future.
