Magical Galicia is a unique experience that will take you through some of the most charming villages in the region, where you can enjoy its delicious gastronomy and the best wines. The route begins in Ribadavia, where you can visit some of the oldest wineries in the region, taste their best red and white wines and continue discovering about the rich history of making Galician wines. Coastal landscapes await us in the following two magical towns: Combarro, a perfect place to savour delicious fish dishes and delicious seafood; and Cambados, a town where you can taste the best sparkling wines in the region and taste the famous clam of Carril. Finally, the route concludes in Padrón, known for its famous peppers, which accompany any meal perfectly, and for its historical and literary importance linked to figures such as Rosalía de Castro and Camilo José Cela. Magical Galicia, a route of rich wines and wonderful gastronomy, will be a unique experience where you will discover the best kept secrets of the Galicia region.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN RIBADAVIA

3:00 p.m – Arrival in Ribadavia and check-in at rural or charming accommodation.

3:30 p.m – Visit to the Ribadavia Tourist Office to stamp the passport and get local information.

4:00 p.m – Guided tour of the old town, including:

  • Main Square
  • Church of Santa María
  • Ribadavia Castle

5:30 p.m – Visit to the Museum of Castreña Culture, focused on the Celtic history of the region.

8:30 p.m Dinner at the accommodation, specialty: Galician-style hake.

  • Includes a glass of D.O. Ribeiro white wine.

10:00 p.m – Overnight stay in Ribadavia.

DAY 2: RIBADAVIA – COMBARRO

8:30 a.m – Breakfast at the accommodation.

9:30 a.m – Guided visit to a local winery in Ribadavia, with tasting of D.O. Ribeiro wines.

11:00 a.m – Visit to the lavender fields (June–July), including explanation of the cultivation and traditional Galician uses of this aromatic plant.

1:30 p.m – Lunch at a traditional restaurant, specialty: grilled fresh fish.

  • Includes a glass of D.O. Ribeiro white wine.

3:00 p.m – Transfer at the client’s expense to Combarro (approx. 80 km – 1.5 hours).

4:30 p.m – Visit to the Combarro Tourist Office to stamp the passport and get local information.

5:00 p.m – Guided tour of the old town of Combarro, famous for:

  • Traditional granaries (hórreos)
  • Seafaring houses
  • Film settings, like in "El Mar de Leche"

8:30 p.m – Dinner at the accommodation, specialty: lacón with grelos (pork shoulder with turnip greens).

  • Includes a glass of D.O. Rías Baixas red wine.

10:00 p.m – Overnight stay in Combarro.


DAY 3: COMBARRO – CAMBADOS

8:30 a.m – Breakfast at the accommodation.

9:30 a.m – Guided visit to the Church of San Felipe and Combarro Museum, to discover the local history and culture.

1:00 p.m – Lunch at a traditional restaurant, specialty: Galician stew (cocido gallego).

  • Includes a glass of red wine D.O. Ribeira Sacra.

3:00 p.m – Transfer at the client’s expense to Cambados (approx. 20 km – 30 min).

3:30 p.m – Visit to the Cambados Tourist Office to stamp the passport and gather local information.

4:00 p.m – Guided tour of the old town, including:

  • Birthplace of Rosalía de Castro
  • Other historical landmarks of the village

6:00 p.m – Visit to a winery in Cambados, with Albariño wine tasting (D.O. Rías Baixas).

8:30 p.m – Dinner at the accommodation, specialty: Galician-style churrasco (grilled meat).

  • Includes a glass of red wine D.O. Rías Baixas.

10:00 p.m – Overnight stay in Cambados.



DAY 4: CAMBADOS – PADRÓN

9:30 a.m – Guided visit to the Cambados Market, to discover local products and Galician specialties in a traditional setting.

1:00 p.m – Lunch at a traditional restaurant, specialty: Galician seafood platter (mariscada).

  • Includes a glass of D.O. Rías Baixas white wine.

3:00 p.m – Transfer at the client’s expense to Padrón (approx. 30 km – 30 min).

3:30 p.m – Visit to the Padrón Tourist Office to stamp the passport and gather local information.

4:00 p.m – Guided walk along the Rosalía de Castro Route, following the most meaningful places in the poet’s life and legacy.

8:30 p.m – Dinner at the accommodation, specialty: Galician-style octopus (pulpo á feira).

  • Includes a glass of red wine D.O. Ribeira Sacra or Galician mencía.

10:00 p.m – Overnight stay in Padrón.

DAY 5: PADRÓN – END OF THE TRIP

9:30 a.m – Guided walk along the “Magic Path” and visit to the Museum of History and Traditions, to explore the local cultural identity.

11:00 a.m – Visit to the black truffle fields(in season) and meet with local artisans, with demonstrations of their crafts.

12:30 p.m – End of the trip and return.

Weather conditions: TGTE is not responsible for adverse weather conditions that may affect the development of the route. In case of cancellation or modification of activities and services due to weather phenomena, no refunds or compensations will be provided.

Food intolerances and allergies: It is the client’s responsibility to inform in advance about any food intolerance or allergy.

Client responsibility: TGTE is exempt from any responsibility for damages, injuries, or accidents that the client may suffer during the route, scheduled activities, or any other circumstance arising from their participation in the trip. Premium insurance included. (Check conditions).

Modifications due to closures or schedule changes: TGTE is not responsible for itinerary changes caused by facility closures, schedule modifications, or operational adjustments due to seasonal factors or special events. In these cases, alternatives will be proposed based on availability.

Late arrival to activities: It is the client’s responsibility to arrive on time for scheduled activities. In case of delay, the activity will be considered canceled with no right to a refund.

Official schedules and out-of-hours changes: Activities will be conducted according to official schedules. If the client wishes to make changes or schedule activities outside official hours, this may be done with an additional charge, subject to availability. It is recommended to check in advance to manage necessary adjustments.

Confirmation voucher: Once the reservation is reconfirmed, TGTE will provide the final itinerary along with confirmation of all included services. Throughout the route, the client must have a paper or digital copy of the confirmation of all services provided by TGTE to present at establishments.

Stamp your Magic Passport: During the journey, you will have the opportunity to stamp your Magic Passport, recording the towns visited. Two formats are available:

Physical format: Can be requested and collected at the tourist office of any Magic Town. ➢ Digital format: Available through the Magic Towns App, where you can digitize your physical passport or keep a digital record.

Becoming a Master Traveler is easy: simply stamp your passport at each destination and enjoy the experience to the fullest!
