Perugia, the capital of Umbria, stands on a hill in the Tiber Valley and is a famous city of art, as well as a vibrant cultural hub. It has the appearance of a fortified medieval village, within a mighty walls. It boasts top-notch museums and beautiful nature that surrounds it. Do not miss a visit to the Palazzo dei Priori and inside the Collegio del Cambio famous for the Sala delle Udienze. Also in Piazza IV Novembre is worth a visit the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, with its Renaissance style is another great protagonist of this incredible historical setting. At the end of the visit is expected to transfer by car to Assisi for accommodation, free dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Second day: Assisi - Gubbio - Assisi
After breakfast at the hotel continue in the morning towards Gubbio. This city is known as the "city of stone" and stands on the side of Mount Ingino, which will captivate you at first sight with its medieval charm to be discovered in its maze of alleys and streets. Start your tour from the jewel of Gubbio, Piazza Grande or Piazza della Signoria, a "hanging" square overlooking the city. At its sides are the public buildings of the city: Palazzo dei Consoli in Gothic style and Palazzo Pretorio, one in front of the other. Take a look at the Palazzo Ranghiasci Brancaleoni which is located on the same square. Nearby is the Palazzo Ducale in Renaissance style. From the gardens of Palazzo Ducale you have a beautiful view of the city. Pay attention to the high and narrow door at the side of the large door: it is the Door of the Dead. According to legend, from here passed the coffins of the dead. After a free lunch you will return to Assisi where there will be a tour of the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, the spiritual heart of Umbria. In few places in the world you can breathe an atmosphere of intense and collected spirituality like the one that permeates the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. The church, completed in 1253, is the beating heart of the town in the province of Perugia and a landmark for the whole Catholic world. After breakfast at the hotel departure towards Orvieto, one of the most beautiful cities of Umbria that, with its over three thousand years of history, never ceases to be discovered. The Duomo, symbol of the city, is a jewel of Romanesque-Gothic architecture. Among the main works, the beautiful golden mosaics that illuminate the facade, and the Chapel of San Brizio, where there is one of the major pictorial cycles of the Renaissance. In the late morning we continue towards Terni, a city nestled in the heart of the peninsula, rich in artistic and scenic beauty. In addition to the Roman Amphitheater, still partly preserved, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Romanesque tower of Barbarasa and the Basilica of San Valentino, where the remains of the patron saint of lovers are preserved. After lunch free departure to the last stage of the day: Spoleto. Two kilometers of well-preserved walls testify to the ancient greatness of the city, which still retains the medieval appearance assumed under the Lombards, who elevated it to the rank of capital of the duchy and enriched it with buildings, transforming it into an authentic architectural jewel. Here are the places of art, culture and architecture to visit, starting from the Rocca Albornoziana, dominating the city and the valley, S. Eufemia, the Roman Theatre or the majestic Ponte delle Torri. Return to Assisi for free dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Fourth day: Assisi - Marmore Falls - return
After breakfast you will leave for the Marmore Falls. The creation of the waterfall dates back to 271 BC, is a formidable work of Roman engineering that served to encourage the outflow of the waters of the Velino, responsible for frequent and disastrous flooding and the transformation of vast expanses of land into unhealthy swamps. In later times and until the Renaissance, further works of improvement were carried out up to the current arrangement. Inside the tourist - hiking area of the Marmore Waterfall you can walk along 6 paths and marked trails that allow the visitor to observe the waterfall from scenic viewpoints of striking beauty.
