VIVA MEXICO-DAY OF THE DEAD

Day 1:(Tuesday - October 29)BOGOTÁ - MEXICO CITY 

Departure from your city of origin to Mexico City. Arrival at Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City, reception and welcome. Lodging.

Day 2:(Wednesday - October 30) BASÍLICA DE GUADALUPE - TEOTIHUACÁN

After breakfast we will start our tour to the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Sanctuary of the Patroness of Mexicans, where we can admire the genuine mantle of Juan Diego with the Virgin, time to enjoy the guaranteed mass. We will continue the tour of the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, we will visit the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, as well as other ruins of equal importance, in addition to a brief explanation about the elaboration of pulque "El Licor Blanco" (traditional drink of pre-Hispanic Mexico) and obsidian handicrafts. Return to the hotel, accommodation;

Day 3:(Thursday - October 31) ATLIXCO "VALLE DE CATRINAS" AND VAL'QUIRICO "LA TOSCANA MEXICANA"

Breakfast included. We will start the tour to the Magic Town of Atlixco de las Flores, founded in 1579, a unique town that combines urban growth with its vast novo-Hispanic heritage, we will walk through its pleasant streets and historic center, where we will visit the Municipal Palace with the murals of the artist Juan Manuel Martinez Caltenco, the Parish of Santa Maria de la Natividad, El Quisco, Ex Convent of San Francisco, Monumental Clock and the Escalera Ancha with the mural of the Atlixquenses; During the walk we will be able to enjoy the Valley of the Catrinas, sculptures of more than 2 meters high made by the hands of Atlixquenses artisans with cardboard representing the Day of the Dead. We will continue to the town of Val 'Quirico, located in the state of Tlaxcala, a town in the Italian Tuscan style of medieval times, where we can walk through its alleys with gardens and stone tunnels that lead directly to the small squares, this unique town offers a variety of cuisine from around the world, you can also take amazing pictures in its stone facades, adobe, wood and brick buildings, all beautifully decorated for the Day of the Dead festivities.

Day 4º:(Friday - 01 November) DAY OF THE DEAD IN CDMX - MONUMENTAL AND MEXICRANEAN OFFERINGS .

Breakfast included. We will go to the Historic Center of the "City of Palaces", we will visit: the Constitution Square or Zocalo, the National Palace (with its fabulous murals, access subject to authorization by the authorities), the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral and the ruins of the Aztec Templo Mayor (from pre-Hispanic times), the main avenues, monuments, we will continue visiting the Monumental Offerings of the Day of the Dead, where we can see all the elements that make up the traditional offerings, as well as thematic offerings. We will walk along Paseo de la Reforma Avenue where we can admire the exhibition of Mexicraneos, beautifully decorated by artists representing the Mexican culture.

Day 5:(Saturday - 02 November) MEXICO CITY.

After breakfast we will enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for personal activities or optional tours.

Day 6:(Sunday - 03 November) MEXICO CITY - BOGOTÁ

After breakfast at the scheduled time transfer to the airport to take the flight back home.
