Day 1: Welcome to Chachapoyas
Collect your luggage, then meet your courteous driver in the arrivals lounge at the Airport holding a sign with your name or group reference on it and transfer to your Hotel in Chachapoyas.
You will have the rest of the day for leisure.

Day 2: Gocta Waterfall
Today, you will venture on a trek to the beautiful Gocta Waterfall. On your way, you will get through the Cocachimba route, then you will go across sugar cane fields until you reach a clouded forest with orchard, mushroom and moss-covered trees. Once there, members of the Communal Association will accompany you along the way and will explain you everything there is to know about the ecosystem that surrounds the area, as well as the history of its community and the waterfall, the third tallest in the world. You can also opt for an earlier departure from the lodge in order to spot the gallito de las rocas and other typical birds.

Day 3: Kuelap Fortress
Good morning! Today you will explore Kuelap, the most important archeological site in the northern Peruvian Andes. On a guided visit, you will learn everything about this monumental fortress, which is located on top of Cerro Barreta; its platform reaches up to 600 meters in length and, at certain points, its walls reach up to 19 meters in height. You will amaze at its imposing walls and its complex interior architecture, where you’ll find administrative, religious, ceremonial and residential areas, which are proof of the detailed organization of its ancient inhabitants.

Day 4: Farewell
You will enjoy a delicious breakfast and, at the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight.
