Granollers Spain

Granollers, the capital of Vallès Oriental, is located on the Vallès plain, in the Catalan pre-coastal depression, at around 148 metres above sea level. The town has notable heritage. The Porxada, a Site of National Cultural Interest, is the city’s most emblematic landmark. It was built between 1586 and 1587 and was originally designed as a corn market. Granollers Museum offers guided tours of this monument and of other points of interest, exploring both the medieval heritage and the modernist city.
